Food for Thought

Hi! Sorry I might have missed to repost these great words shared by Scott Wood as a comment to one of my recent blog posts.

"I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time"

Pinoy

Took this photo on a birthday celebration somewhere in Bauang, La Union, Philippines.

"Pinoy" is a Philippine slang for "Filipino" or the people of the Philippines.

This is a picture of poverty, camaraderie, and struggle, as might have seen and observed in the current state of the country.

Creating an Underwater Scene in Blender

Howdy, everyone! It's been a little while since my last Blender article, but hopefully it's worth the gap though. Again, I feel very happy to announce the release of my latest Blender article titled "Creating an Underwater Scene in Blender", it has been my largest article in Packt Pub so far and I'm hoping you'll love it the same way as I did, and of course learn from it too.

Sorry about the squeezed images though, we had to do it to compensate for the page width, however you can just right click and open the image in a new window or tab.

My heartfelt gratitude to the people responsible at Packt Pub especially to Sanjay for the patience.

The Greatest Things in Life

A year ago up until an hour ago, I kind of lost track, I immersed myself into an ocean of hopes, forethought, future, great life, grandchildren, memories that will be remembered through centuries, achievements, skills, endeavors... But you know what? They were all just mere illusions that I created, some crap my mind generated to make this existence more meaningful, or perhaps some jinx I casted to teleport my being into a realm of fake fantasies, of dreams that never came true, and of goals that were way above my head. And as I write these words of utter benevolence or of continuous rambling, my thoughts flow into an existential retrospect of how my life had been before I last did this, before all these illusions came sinking down whispering fake nonsensical realities.

When was the last time you cried? When was the last time you sat down and thought over your life? When was the last time you paused and paced yourself down? When was the last time you expressed to someone special how much they mean to you?

As I drain myself out of this breathing mechanism, as I slowly pour over my consciousness into slumber, I wanted to share and partake some things I realized and some things I could have done earlier and hoping it is not too late yet.

If you have been lost and bewildered, trying to search for something that would make you contented, just stop for a second and think which moments of your life you did last that made you feel most gratified and then take it from there.

All I wanted to say is that during my searches, my journeys, and my struggles, the greatest thing about living life is Love and Happiness.

Don't do anything that you don't love and won't make you happy. If it doesn't make you happy right now, then stop doing it. Do not think too much of your life's burdens. There may be multitute of worries out there but there's an even greater array of ways to be happy, and what not, those worries may just be phases of making you even more happier.

If you broke your arm, don't feel too bad, it's not the end of the world, it might just be a lesson to be careful next time. If you can't think of better ideas , then don't, just sit back and relax, take your time to breathe and be thankful you're still able to. If you chipped your tooth or wounded you hand, still be thankful that you had them, because those are only but dreams to some people who have disabilities.

If you have someone close to you, tell them how much you love them, tell them how much they mean to you, because you won't know when will they be gone... And most importantly, learn from their life... Listen to what they have to say... Protect them and never let them leave your side.

Always seize the moment and be happy, don't worry what has to come, think what is. There's plenty of time right now and little time when it's all over and done, so as early as now, get it right, live your life and kiss happiness a chance to embrace you.

Just be grateful you're alive, breathing the air you breathe now, reading these words. Be happy.

Yuki-Photo

Hi! Here's one of my latest photographs of our pup "Yuki". Took this before we left home and had fun. I wish we could bring him on our trip though. ^_^
