After months and months of absence in GIMP, I somehow found my way through it.

Been tinkering with GIMP for a while on one of my old sketches and eventually came up with this. ^_^

Flame

First off, this is purely experimental with no real-world derivation since I don't have a concrete knowledge on the behavior of flame and smoke (strength, density structures, falloff, etc.). If there are anyone out there willing to give me lessons on real fire, I'd love to listen.
