Depth of Field (A Nikon D5000 Short)

Lately, I've really been having so much fun filming (category?) with Naomi (my Nikon D5000).  I really wanted to test and gauge what the d-movie mode could offer "out of the box" and using the lens kit (18-55mm) that comes with it.  It had been a bumpy ride, but overall, the fun and excitement it came along with has far surpassed the problems that I met along the way.

Below you can see the product of a one month filming with Naomi.  And please pardon me for not shooting people in the scene, it just didn't feel right.  Probably next time.  Have fun.  Thanks!

Thanks, Renderosity!

Yay! Thanks so much to Renderosity for choosing one of my recent photographs titled "Plunge" to be one of the selected few in their Last Week in the Gallery 50 selection.  I'm very honored to be one of them.  Cheers!

(Photography) Portfolio Updated

I've been drowning in photography lately and have forgotten to update my portfolio one way or the other. Somehow, I managed to kick it a bit.

2010-Dec-04 SILIP Trip

Last December 4, 2010, we, the SILIP (Seeing Images of Life in Photography) Camera Club members and officers, had the opportunity to travel to Metro Manila to attend the FPPF (Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation) Christmas Party, which by the way, was soooo much fun (figuring we're only six on the group who came over, that makes technically a crowd already). It's nice to see fellow photographers and enthusiasts having fun and simply seeing them shooting makes it even warming.

Here's a quick and short video from my Facebook account that I compiled narrating our trip:

Packt Publishing Blender Books

Just recently, I've been given a great opportunity to receive electronic copies of some of the best Blender books offered by PacktPub and am very fortunate to review some of them.

In the meantime, you can check some unique links of the books below and soon enough I'll be posting my own reviews of them:

(Photography) Leftover

"It stays on, forever..."

After having been inspired instantly, I decided to take my camera and go shooting somewhere two meters away from my desk. ^_^

Shot with a Nikon D5000.
