Blender Video Tutorial: Node Compositing

Hi, everyone!

I present to the community my first video tutorial.

In this video, I guide you on the process of how I achieved the final look and feel on one of the still images from Project Luke's Escape (http://www.lukesescape.com).

I hope you find this helpful!

If you have any comments and/or suggestions, please feel free to drop a comment below or send me an e-mail at reynantem[at]gmail[dot]com.

Tutorial topics and suggestions are highly recommended as well, let me know your thoughts. :)

You can download the .blend file from

Background music by Eduardo Mena (http://www.flashkit.com/loops/Ambient/Ambient/cool_gro-Eduardo_-10181/index.php).

To those curious minds out there, here's a screenshot from Blender's Video Sequence Editor:

As supplementary info, to change the color picker type, press the shortcut key CTRL ALT U or click File | User Preferences to bring up the Preferences Window.  After which, navigate to the 'System' tab and look for the 'Color Picker Type' entry which is somewhere on the lower right portion of the window.  Here you can choose which type to use; as in my case, I am most comfortable using the Circle picker type.

Thank you so much for the time and happy Blending! ^_^

Almost There

Thank you so much to the Blender community and to everyone for their feedback on my post a few months ago regarding my plan on selling the whole production file of my latest and upcoming project.

More info about the post at http://reynantem.blogspot.com/2012/11/what-do-you-think.html

This is to inform everyone that I am almost done finalizing some stuff and will soon be released to the community.

I'll keep you all posted! :)

Thanks so much for the time!

A Caricature of Me by Floren Marc Bautista

Woot! This was a bit of a surprise on my part.  My friend, fellow Blender artist, and an awesome illustrator did this caricature of me.

You might remember me doing a caricature of him in 3D too before, which is titled 'Such is Life'.

Here's his pay back version, titled 'My Sweet Revenge'.

This will definitely be hanging on my wall soon! ^_^

Aeta Updated with Cycles Hair

Here's an updated version of Aeta, with improved shaders and a new hair!

Having so much fun with Cycles' hair, coupled with the recent updates on the Non-Progressive renderer. :D

Thanks to BroadStu, Brecht van Lommel, Thomas Dinges, Campbell Barton, and to all the Blender devs! ^_^
