Butter's Recovery

Note: This post is non-CG related.

You might remember Butter, the kitten we adopted and became part of our family. If you don't, you can check the photos below to see some lovely snapshots of his life.

He came home a while ago after a few days of not coming back, and we wondered where had been. We were very shocked to see our little cat wounded, in fact, he was flayed. We don't know how and when. Butter is the one and only cat in our family and we love him so much. He's very kind and tender and we just couldn't believe what happened to him. We have so many speculations as to what happened to him; side-swiped by a vehicle, cat fight, dog fight, animal cruelty, etc. Right now, he is still gasping for air, barely can't walk, and not able to eat anything. I simply couldn't imagine the pain he's going through right now.

Please help us wish for his fast recovery. I know our dear Butter is struggling with the excruciating pain now and we are really hoping he could make it. ='(

If you want to see how he looks now, you can check the images below.

WARNING: SENSITIVE IMAGES

What you see is only a portion of his wound. His skin was flayed, showing the muscles underneath. And please, if there's any advice/medication you could suggest, we would love to hear from you.

Get well soon, Butter...

pains me to see animals suffer.

Thanks, pal.

Me too, it hurts me so much. Animals teach us so many things in life humans could never do. They are a perfect example of loyalty and attitude.

Thanks for the concern, mate. ;)

What are you waiting for? Bring him to the veterinary already!

He was already attended by the vet a few hours ago. We were advised to clean the wounds until mid this week. Then she can do the stitching on the skin. And if Butter still can't eat until tomorrow, we might have to bring him to the clinic for some dextrose.

Thanks so much. :)
